The Mounds View Planning Commission was called to 1. Call to Order
order by Chair Mountin at 9:17 p.m. on Wednesday July
18, 1990.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Colleen, Jones, 2 . Roll Call
Miller, and Chair Mountin.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioners Zollner, Burgers, and
Dian had excused absences .
ALSO PRESENT: City Planner Hren. It was noted for
the minutes that no City Council liaison was present.

The Planning Commissioners stated that they have 4. Consideration

297-90 recommending approval to the City Council of No. 302-90
the requested conditional use permit/planned unit
development by Dynex Industries for a phased building
addition at 4751 Mustang Circle.

RESOLUTION NO. 297-90
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL TO THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE REQUESTED CONDITIONAL USE/PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
REQUEST BY DYNEX INDUSTRIES FOR A PHASED BUILDING ADDITION AT
4751 MUSTANG CIRCLE, PLANNING CASE NO. 302-90
WHEREAS, Dynex Industries has requested a conditional
use/planned unit development to allow a phased development of
the property they own at 4751 Mustang Circle; and
WHEREAS, Dynex Industries has submitted a site plan
dated July 10, 1990, and received by the City July 11, 1990,
which outlines the phased development; and
WHEREAS, the proposed site plan includes the proposed
landscaping plan which is in conformance with the suggestions
made by City Forester Wriskey; and
• WHEREAS, the applicant has requested that the northern
portion of the parking/driveway area remain gravel until Phase
3 develops in 1993 or the applicant applies for an extension;
and
WHEREAS, the site plan calls for interlocking curbing
on a portion of the parking/driveway area which has been found
to be acceptable by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the grading,
drainage, and erosion plan and finds that the plan is
acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the building elevations have been submitted
and are compatible with the existing building; and
WHEREAS, the lighting plan has yet to be submitted for
review by the City; and
WHEREAS, the project has received approval from the
Rice Creek Watershed District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends to the City Council approval of
the requested conditional use/planned unit development for the
phased building addition at Dynex Industries, 4751 Mustang
Circle, contingent upon the following:

1. The applicant must submit an acceptable lighting
plan.
2 . The developer must enter into a development
agreement with the City of Mounds View.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council
prior to approval of the minutes .
