Call to Order order by Chair Mountin at 7:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 1991. MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Miller, Burgers, 2 . Roll Call Jones, Peterson, Colleen and Chair Mountin. ALSO PRESENT: Planning Technician Harrington and Councilmember Blanchard. Motion/Second: Burgers/Peterson to approve the 3 . Approval of minutes of May 1, 1991, as presented. Minutes: May 1, 1991 6 ayes 0 nays •There were no residents requests or comments from the 4. Residents floor. Requests and Comments From The Floor Planning Technician Harrington stated that due to the 5. Rescheduling of proximity of the July 3, 1991, Regular Planning July 3, 1991, Commission meeting to the Fourth of July Holiday, Meeting to July Staff recommended that the meeting be rescheduled to 2, 1991 Tuesday, July 2, 1991. Chair Mountin, after consultation with the Planning Commission, rescheduled the meeting to July 2, 1991, as per Planning Commission Bylaws . Chair Mountin asked that the change of date be posted and published in the official City newspaper. Planning Technician Harrington provided the Planning 6 . Staff Report Commission with a memorandum from City Council member Pat Rickaby regarding the potential for senior housing on the property located at 2901 Highway 10 . Chair Mountin asked that Councilmember Rickaby be given a memorandum capsuling the interest that was oshown in the property by REM, Inc. Mounds View Planning Commission June 5, 1991 "regular Meeting Page Two Chair Mountin reported that the May 29, 1991, 7 . Report of Chair scheduled agenda session was canceled due to a lack of quorum. Chair Mountin also reported that the Commission has received the resignation of Commission member Robyn Zollner. Chair Mountin asked that advertisements for the vacant seats on the Planning Commission be placed in the City Hall bulletin board and cable access television. Chair Mountin noted the attendees at the May 22, 1991, Planning Commission agenda session were Commissioners Miller, Peterson, Colleen, Zollner and Chair Mountin. Commissioners Burgers and Jones had excused absences. Commission member Peterson reported that preliminary consultants findings of the property located north of Highway 118 and immediately west of I-35W indicate that the potential for a 9-hole golf course does exist and could be pursued. • There being no further business before the Planning Commission, Chair Mountin adjourned the meeting at 7:47 p.m. 8.
