Call To Order called to order by Chair Mountin at 8 : 00 p.m. on September 16, 1992 . MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Colleen, 2 . Roll Call Miller, Nelson, Peterson, Ruggles, and Stevenson, and Chair Mountin. Commissioners Burgers had an excused absence. ALSO PRESENT: Planner Harrington and Councilmember Blanchard. Planner Harrington reviewed Planning 3 . Consideration • Case No. 349-92 , a development review of of Resolution a proposed office and parking expansion No. 344-92, at Tyson Trucking, 4825 Mustang Drive. Development The applicant has requested that action Review Request be taken on this case immediately, as of Everest they would like to begin construction as Development for soon as possible. The proposal is in Tyson Trucking, conformance with all applicable sections 4825 Mustang of the Municipal Code and will not Circle affect the site's storm water run off capacity. Chair Mountin noted that Tim Nelson of Everest Development, was present to represent Tyson Trucking and had received a copy of the proposed resolution. Reports of P Commission representative to the Golf Chair and Course Task Force, announced that the Commissioners group would be holding a meeting on September 17, 1992 at 6: 00 p.m. Members of the Planning Commission were encouraged to attend. Commissioner Stevenson noted for the minutes that he would be serving on the Golf Course Task Force with Commissioner Peterson as a representative of the Parks and Recreation Committee. Because of this situation, Commissioner Stevenson will not be able to serve as the Planning Commission's alternate. Commissioner Nelson will serve as the Planning Commission's alternate representative on the Task Force. There being no further business before 5. Adjournment • the Commission, Chair Mountin adjourned the meeting at 8: 05 p.m. Respectfully Submitted, o r ) � Paul Harrington City Planner • MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION • RESOLUTION NO. 344-92 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF THE SITE PLAN DESIGN SUBMITTED BY EVEREST DEVELOPMENT, 4825 MUSTANG CIRCLE, PLANNING CASE NO. 349-92 WHEREAS, Everest Development, representing Tyson Trucking, has requested a site review for a building renovation and parking expansion at the Tyson Trucking facility, 4825 Mustang Circle; and WHEREAS, Chapter 59 . 07 of the Municipal Code outlines the requirements of a development review; and WHEREAS, Everest Development has submitted a Site Plan dated September 8 , 1992 , a Grading Plan dated September 9, 1992, and an Office Renovation Plan dated August 13 , 1992 , henceforth known as Exhibit 1; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Site Plan and Office Renovation Plan and determined that they are in conformance with Chapter 59 . 07 of the Municipal Code; and • WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the Grading Plan and found it meets the necessary storm water runoff requirements with the modification of the ponding area as proposed in the report dated September 9 , 1992 , by Putnam Consultants on behalf of the applicant and attached as Exhibit 2 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends approval of the Site, Grading and Building Renovation Plans submitted by Everest Development for 4825 Mustang Circle contingent upon the following: 1. That all permits required by the Rice Creek Watershed District be applied for and approved. 2 . That the required Surface Water Management charge of $383 . 37 be paid in advance of any construction on the project. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
