The Mounds View Planning Commission was 1. Call to Order
called to order by Chair Peterson at 7:01 p.m.
on December 6, 1995
MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Miller, 2. Roll Call
Johnston, Colleen, Stevenson and Chair
Peterson. Commissioners Ruggles and Nelson
had excused absences.
ALSO PRESENT: Planning Associate Pruitt
was also present.
• Motion/Second: Stevenson/Colleen to approve 3. Approval of Minutes:
the minutes of November 1, 1995, as amended. December 6, 1995
4 ayes 0 nays 1 abstention Motion Carried
(Commissioner Johnston abstained.)

Planning Associate Pruitt presented Resolution 5. Consideration of
No. 434-95 establishing the Planning Resolution No. 434-
Commission's meeting and timeline submission 95 Regarding
dates for 1996. Commissioner Miller requested Establishing Meeting
that the Wednesday, February 21, 1996, and Timeline
agenda meeting be rescheduled to Submission Dates for
Wednesday, February 28, 1996, due to Ash 1996
Wednesday.

Motion/Second: Miller/Johnston to approve
Resolution No. 434-95 establishing meeting
and timeline submission dates for 1996.

Planning Associate Pruitt presented a request 6. Staff Report
that the Planning Commission approve
Resolution 435-95, adopting the Water
Emergency and Conservation Plan. She
informed the Commission that the City Council
signed Resolution No. 4827 adopting the Plan
at their November 13, 1995, meeting.
Motion/Second: Stevenson/Peterson to
approve Resolution No. 435-95, adopting the
Water Emergency and Conservation Plan.
Motion Carried

Members present at the November 15, 1995, 7. Report of Chair
agenda session included Commissioners
Johnston, Colleen, Stevenson, Ruggles and
Chair Peterson. (Commissioners Miller and
Nelson had excused absences).
Also present were Planning Associate Pruitt
and Councilmember Trude.
There being no further business before the 8. Adjournment
Planning Commission, Chair Peterson
adjourned the meeting at 7:19 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 435-95
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION ADOPTING WATER EMERGENCY AND CONSERVATION PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is mandated by the Departments of Natural
Resources to prepare and adopt a Water Conservation and Emergency Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Plan has been prepared by the City's Engineering Firm, SEH, and
is in final draft form; and
WHEREAS, the Plan meets all known requirements, and at this time must be
submitted to the metropolitan Council for it's approval; and
WHEREAS, Upon approval from the Metropolitan Council the Plan will
be incorporated in to the City's Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plan, upon approval of the
metropolitan Council, will be incorporated in the City's Comprehensive Plan.
Adopted this 6th day of December, 1995.

RESOLUTION NO. 434-95
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ESTABLISHING MEETING AND TIMELINE SUBMISSION DATES FOR 1996
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission will be holding
two business meetings per month during 1996 with the exception of Special
Meetings; the first being a regular meeting and the second an agenda session; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has requested to review regular
business meeting agenda items at their agenda session, a minimum of two weeks
prior to the regular business meeting; and
WHEREAS, developers, citizens or other interested parties should be
advised of deadlines for materials used by staff to prepare a report and used by the
Planning Commissioners to decide on a particular development issue; and
WHEREAS, a display of meeting dates and submission deadline dates
• be established to provide an orderly system for use by the Planning Commission,
staff and general public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commis-
sion of the City of Mounds View establishes meeting and submission timetable
dates setting deadlines for submission of materials for agenda sessions of the
Planning Commission and also setting the dates of the regular business meetings
and agenda sessions;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Exhibit 1 becomes an integral part
of this resolution;
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that if the Planning Commission is
required to or desires to hold special meetings, they will do so in accordance with
State law, Code requirements and the Bylaws.
Adopted this 6th day of December, 1995.
