for overt garages, some variances, etc. could be scheduled for just one
imee n the interest of minimizing Staff time for preparing the reports, minimizing
'` i ` e, nigomm<time to process the cases for the applicant, and also helping to stay within the
60-day time frame which is required by State law. The Commission agreed that
this would be a good idea and they asked Staff to prepare an amendment to their
bylaws to reflect this change.
b. University of Minnesota Design Course: Director Sheldon indicated that
• Commissioners Brooks and Stevenson have attended the meetings regarding the

redesigning of Highway 10. Ms. Sheldon presented some sketches done by Bill
Morrish, the head of the design center, of what might be done with the corridor to
create more of a village center. 1
