Consideration Case No 342-92, a Conditional Use of Resolution Permit application to allow an accessory No. 335-92, building in a Flood Plain Zone at 3009 Regarding Con- County Road H. Planner Harrington stated that Mr. Borden will only be taking out one tree. That tree, which the City Forester has declared dead, is actually in the front of the house, not behind it. Bernie Edgeton, a realtor representing the applicant, was present to answer questions. Commissioner Stevenson asked if there were any housing plans for the proposed subdivision. • Mr. Edgeton said that there are no plans as of yet; the applicant is taking care of the subdivision first. Commissioner Nelson asked about the width of the lot; were other houses in that area of comparable width? Planner Harrington replied that while he did not know the width of the other properties, this proposed subdivision meets the minimum width requirement of 75 feet. The attendance at the April 15, 1992 Agenda Session included Commissioners Colleen, Nelson, Peterson, Ruggles, Stevenson, and Chair Mountin. Councilmember Blanchard was also in attendance. Adjournment the Commission, Chair Mountin adjourned the meeting at 7:55 p.m. Respectfully Submitted, • Paul Harrington City Planner • MEMORANDUM • TO: PLANNING COMMISSION FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, PLANNER Vk DATE: May 15, 1992 SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - DOG KENNELS PLANNING CASES NOS. 338-92 & 339-92 Staff has consulted the City Attorney regarding the requirements for approval of a Conditional Use Permit to establish a dog kennel in a residential zone district. It is his opinion that all requirements outlined in the Municipal Code must be met including the circulation of a petition(by the applicant) to all property owners within 500 feet of the proposed kennel site. This petition must be signed by at least 50% of those property owners in order for the kennel to be approved.
