The Mounds View Planning Commission was 1. Call To Order
called to order by Chair Mountin at 7: 37
p.m. on February 3, 1993 .
MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Miller, 2 . Roll Call
Nelson, Peterson, Stevenson, and Chair
Mountin.
ALSO PRESENT: Planner Harrington and
Recording Secretary Asleson.
Councilmember Rickaby had an excused
absence.

Planner Harrington outlined Planning 5. Consideration
Case No. 359-93 , request for a of Resolution
Conditional Use Permit for an oversized No. 357-93,
accessory building (shed) at 7768 Regarding
Woodlawn Drive. He explained that the Conditional Use
shed had already been built and that Permit Request
because there had been some concerns for Oversize
about the shed's placement with respect Accessory
to lot lines, the applicant had the Building at
property surveyed. Planner Harrington 7768 Woodlawn
distributed a copy of the survey, which Drive, Planning
showed that the shed meets setback Case No. 359-93
requirements.

present at the Planning Commission
meeting.
Mayor Linke arrived at 8:31 p.m. and
informed the Commission that the City
Council would be holding a Strategic
Planning Seminar in March and that he
would like input from the Planning
Commission about "where the City should
go in the next ten years". He asked
that the Commissioner brainstorm
individually and bring their comments to
the next Agenda Session. Chair Mountin
was also invited to attend one session
along with the Chairs of other City
Commissions.
Commissioner Peterson asked the Mayor
about the funding available for training
for Planning Commissioners.
• Mayor Linke indicated that he believes
training to be important and that some
funding could be found. He also
informed the Commission that the Council
might be considering some changes to the
ordinances of City Commissions within
the next year.
There being no further business before 10. Adjournment
the Commission, Chair Mountin adjourned
the meeting at 8:55 p.m.
