called to order by Chair Mountin at 8 : 37
p.m. on July 21, 1993 .
MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Colleen, 2 . Roll Call
Stevenson, Nelson, Peterson, Ruggles,
Miller and Chair Mountin.
ALSO PRESENT: Planner Harrington and
Councilmember Wuori.
Chair Mountin stated that the purpose of 3 . Consideration
this special meeting was to make a of Resolution
recommendation regarding a Conditional No. 364-93 ,
. Use Permit for minor auto repair at 2806 Regarding
Highway 10. Planner Harrington reviewed Conditional Use
the stipulations of the Conditional Use Permit Request
Permit, including the permit would be for Minor Auto
subject to review after a period of one Repair at 2806

SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - TEMPORARY ACCESSORY BUILDING
7901 RED OAK DRIVE, PLANNING CASE NO. 366-93
Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak Drive, has made application for
a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the continued location of a
temporary accessory building on their property. A Conditional Use
Permit was granted by the City Council in 1988 allowing the
structure to be placed on the property. The approval contained a
"sunset clause" which effectively revoked the Permit in 1993 . The
current request is in response to that Permit sunsetting.
This request has been reviewed by the Commission at their July 21,
1993 meeting. The attached Resolution No. 365-93 contains the
language decided upon by the Commission at that meeting.

COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR A TEMPORARY ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR
CHURCH UPON THE ROCK, 7901 RED OAK DRIVE
PLANNING CASE NO. 366-93
WHEREAS, Church Upon the Rock has made application
for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the continued use of
a temporary accessory structure at 7901 Red Oak Drive; and
WHEREAS, In 1988, the Mounds View City Council gave
approval for a Conditional Use Permit for the placement of a
temporary accessory structure on the property; and
• WHEREAS, the approved City Council resolution con-
tained a "sunset" clause, which effectively revoked the permit
after a five year period; and
WHEREAS, the current request is in response to the
sunsetting of the previous approval ; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the
request and found it in conformance with applicable City
Codes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of the requested
Conditional Use Permit for the location of a temporary acces-
sory structure for Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak Drive,
contingent upon the following:
1. The approved temporary accessory structure shall
be removed from the property no later than July
1, 1994 .

2 . The parking lot on the property shall be
surfaced with City approved materials no later
than October 1, 1993 .
