CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
MOTION CONCERNING REQUEST FOR REZONING
CASE 47-80 (MILLER INDUSTRIAL PLAT)
WHEREAS, the request by Mr. John A. Miller dated November
26, 1980, for partial rezoning of the 69.8 acres of property
bounded by Minnesota Trunk Highway. #10, County Road J, and Judicial
Ditch #1, complies with the industrial zoning designation for the
property in the current update of the Comprehensive Plan approved
by the City Council on September 22, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the said request for industrial zoning is consis-
tant with the recommendations dated November 4, 1980, by the City's
Planner, Northwest Associated Consultants; and
WHEREAS, the planned unit development (PUD) concept poten-
tially offers the advantages to the requestor of conservation of
land and flexibility in design while providing the City the oppor-
tunity to establish conditions for development which are in the
public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning and Zoning
Commission as follows:

That approval is recommended to the City Council for
rezoning all portions of the cited property to Light
Industrial (I-1), and further recommend that a PUD
designation be placed on the parcel.
Adopted this 7th day of January, 1981, as Exhibit B.
