MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 17-81
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING PLANNING CASE 80-81
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the
application of Greg S. Kelley requesting the construction of_ an
office/warehouse building at 2151 Mustang Drive; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has applied for both development approval
and a 10' rear yard setback variance; and
WHEREAS, the proposed development falls under the I-1 industrial
classification and is therefore consistant with the land use and zoning
of the area; and
WHEREAS, given the existing lot dimensions, the applicant cannot
place a reasonably sized building on the lot and stay within setback
requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission approves the request for a 10' rear yard setback variance
due to an irregular shaped lot;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
recommends approval of the development proposal submitted by Greg S.
Kelley to construct an office/warehouse building at 2151 Mustang Drive
as presented.
