RESOLUTION NO. 25-81
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SILVER LAKE WOODS
DEVELOPMENT STAGE FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received an application
for a planned unit development called Silver Lake Woods; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Owners, M & E Realty Company and
Kraus-Anderson Incorporated, had entered into a planned unit develop-
ment concept stage agreement on September 22, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the applicant, Marvin H. Anderson Construction Co.,
for the owners, has submitted the information for the development stage
for a planned unit development pursuant to the direction of the planned
unit development concept stage; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the
submissions of the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends the
following changes or requirements based on their review:
1) Commercial Area Frontage Highway 10 to include only B-2 (Limited
Business District) uses;
2) Relocate R-4 elderly multiple dwelling building in a south-
east direction moving the parking facilities to the northwest
corner offering a better buffer between the R-4 and the B-2
medical proposal;
3) The road easement in the B-2 area above County Road I proposed
to be named Sunnyside Extension;
4) All parking spaces shall be 9~ by 20' minimum;
5) A feasibility study be ordered and prepared for the City Council
for the public hearing review of the development stage;
6) Relocate curb cut for drive-through bank facilities on east
office building above County Road I and integrate drive-through
within the site; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has received modified
preliminary plats on April 30, 1981 and finds them in conformance;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends the City Council approve the development stage of
the Silver Lake Woods planned unit development and that the applicant
is directed to submit a final planned unit development stage pursuant
to this action.
