STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANNING CASE 36-79
WHEREAS, the Developer, Sahara Investment Co., made application
with the City of Mounds View for site plan approval for a detached bank
facility; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission on October 3, 1979,
held an unofficial informational hearing regarding the detached bank
facility; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission on October 3, 1979,
recommended approval of a detached bank facility; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council reviewed the Planning
Commission's recommendation on November 13, 1979, and adopted Resolution
No. 1046 entitled, "Concept Approval of Site Plan Approval for an Office
Building with a Detached Banking Facility Proposed by Sahara Investment
�ompany" as received October 15, 1979, by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Developer has submitted a final site plan for
approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends approval of Planning Case 36-79 with the following
considerations:
1) Screening along the abutting residential properties be
standard, meeting the requirements of Mounds View Code,
Section 40.04, Subdivision G.
2) The lots described below be combined as one:
Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition
Lots 108, 109, 110 and 111
3) The four lots decribed above be rezoned from B-3 to B-2.
4) The City Council hold a public hearing regarding the
proposal and send notice to the impacted residents of
this application.
5) The traffic be monitored on a regular basis for lane
modification in necessary.

6) The grading plan be altered so as to provide 0.46 acre
feet of storage (22,000 cubic feet) with a combined out-
flow from the ponding sites of 1.0 cubic feet per second.
The two ponds should be interconnected so that one pipe
would be the control structure to the highway ditch, and
the outlet pipe should be reinforced concrete pipe;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
recommends that a development agreement be drafted with the above consid-
erations noted and a security deposit required to cover the costs of
development.
Adopted this 3rd day of June, 1981.
