RESOLUTION NO. 41-81

STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION REGARDING VARIANCE REQUEST
FOR 6928 PLEASANT VIEW DRIVE
WHEREAS, a representative for 6928 Pleasant View Drive has
requested a variance from the required sideyard setback of a drive-
way; and
WHEREAS, the representative requests approval of a new
existing driveway surface to be located between 1.5 feet to .4 feet
from the property line while a minimum of 5 feet is required by
City Code; and
WHEREAS, there exists a non -conforming garage 1.5 feet off
the property line while 5 feet is required; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the hardship
presented does not meet Code requirements for relief; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the owner of the
property does have the right to access his existing garage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission approves the. installation of a driveway from the garage,
1.5 feet off the south property line, at 6928 Pleasant View Drive for
a distance of 22 feet at which location the driveway shall curve to a
5 feet setback within 42 feet from the garage;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
requires the removal of the non -conforming portion of the driveway
immediately and further note that a 2 foot radius may be used on the
driveway end at the street.
