RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT FOR DAY CARE FACILITIES AT 2520 COUNTY ROAD I
MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE 102-81
(RES.CINDING RESOLUTION NO -44-82)
WHEREAS, the Applicant/Owner, Sunrise United Methodist
Church, of 2520 County Road I has requested the use of its church
Sunday School area as a day care facility; and
WHEREAS, the zoning of the property at 2520 County Road I
is R-1; and
WHEREAS, a day care facility is allowed by conditional use
permit in an R-1 zoned district; and
WHEREAS, the City's Inspection Department has been requested
to conduct an E-3 Occupancy inspection of the proposed facility;
and
WHEREAS, the inspection has been made and a letter reporting
• the findings is attached; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that there
is a need for day care facilities in Mounds view;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mo�nds View Planning
Commission recommends approval of the conditionaA use permit
request for a day care facility at 2520 County Rio d I within the
church Sunday School area;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commis-
sion recommends that the findings of the E-3 inspection be a
stipulated requirement and that the provisions be completed prior
to the start of day care operation.
