MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 60-82
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 48,
"WETLANDS", TO THE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recognizes
that wetlands are critical to the health, safety and welfare of
the City; and
WHEREAS, a wetlands subcommittee has been organized to
study the wetland issue; and
WHEREAS, this subcommittee has presented to the Planning
Commission a draft copy of the proposed wetland ordinance for
review and comment; and
WHEREAS, it is the Planning Commission's desire to maintain
a consistency between the wetland ordinance and the zoning ordi-
nance, subdivision ordinance and the adopted Comprehensive Plan
of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission has reviewed and determined that draft No. 3 of Chapter
48 entitled, "Wetlands", is consistent with the goals and policies
of the Mounds View Comprehensive Plan;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commis-
sion hereby recommends to the City Council adoption of this Chapter
of the Municipal Code.
