RESOLUTION NO. 83-83
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANNING CASE
NO. 134-83, A MINOR SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, an application was received by staff for a minor
subdivision (relocation of a property line) for properties located
at 8250 Greenwood Drive by Mr. Donald Moore and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Plasch;
and
WHEREAS, the applicants, with this proposal, are requesting
approval to relocate the rear property line 89.02 feet to the east; and
WHEREAS, the two proposed lots meet minimum frontage and
square footage requirements in addition to the buildings on the west
property meeting minimum setback requirements; and
WHEREAS, the proposed location of the rear property line will
be in line with property lines to the south of these properties; and
WHEREAS, this is staying with past City practice of requiring
• rear property lines to be in line with adjacent property lines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends to the City Council approval of the minor subdi-
vision as requested by relocating the existing rear property line 89.02
feet to the east;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
recommends five foot easements be taken along the following: the entire
south property lines of both lots, five feet on both sides of the
proposed rear property line and along the north property line 89.02 feet
west from the proposed rear line;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
directs staff to forward this recommendation to the City Council prior
to approval of the minutes.
