COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PLANNING CASE NO. 142-83,
A MINOR SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, an application was received by staff for a minor
subdivision (relocation of a property line) for properties located
at 8344 Groveland Road by Mr. Arthur Zielinski; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Arthur Zielinski is the owner of the property
located at 8344 Groveland Road and is also the legal guardian for
Clara B. Ford, owner of the property located at 8334 Groveland
Road; and
WHEREAS, the applicant with this proposal is requesting
approval to relocate the existing south property line of 8344
Groveland Road thirty (30) feet to the south; and
WHEREAS, the two proposed lots meet minimum frontage
requirements and square footage requirements; and
WHEREAS, the buildings on the two properties will meet
minimum setback requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends to the City Council approval of a
minor subdivision as requested by relocating the existing south
property line of 8344 Groveland Road, thirty (30) to the south;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends that a five (5) foot drainage and utility
easement be taken on both sides of this proposed lot line as shown
on the survey dated August 29, 1983;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission directs staff to forward this resolution to the City
Council prior to approval of the minutes.
