1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
2. ROLL CALL: President Mueller, Vice President Gunn, Commissioner Hull,
Commissioner Meehlhause, and Executive Director Ericson.
NOT PRESENT: None.
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Approve the January 9, 2017, Agenda as presented.
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
4. PUBLIC INPUT
None.
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. December 12, 2016, EDA Minutes.
Commissioner Meehlhause requested a change on Page 4, Line 8 stating the line should read:
stated she attended.
MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Approve the December 12, 2016, Minutes as
amended.
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
6. CONSENT AGENDA
None.

7. EDA BUSINESS
A. 17-EDA-296, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Economic Development
Authority (EDA).
Executive Director Ericson requested the EDA elect and appoint officers for 2017. He reviewed
the positions held by the EDA in 2016.
President Mueller asked if the President of the EDA had to be the Mayor. Executive Director
Ericson stated this was not a requirement, but has been the general practice.
Commissioner Meehlhause recommended Carol Mueller serve as President, Sherry Gunn serve
as Vice President, Al Hull serve as Secretary and he serve as Treasurer. The Authority was in
agreement with this recommendation.
MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 17-
EDA-296, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Economic Development Authority (EDA).
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
B. 17-EDA-297, Appointing Members to the Economic Development
Commission (EDC).
Executive Director Ericson requested the EDA appoint members to the Economic Development
Commission. He explained the EDC was made up of seven members and two reappointments,
Dan Larson and Laurie Shoop, were being presented at this time.
MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 17-EDA-
297, Appointing Members to the Economic Development Commission (EDC).
Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
8. REPORTS
None.
9. NEXT EDA MEETING: Monday, January 23, 2017, at 6:30 p.m.
10. ADJOURNMENT
President Mueller adjourned the meeting at 6:39 p.m.
