Item Title: Resolution 10-EDA-259 Authorizing Ramsey County to Cancel the
Minimum Assessment Agreement between the EDA and Mounds
Vista, Inc.
Attached is Resolution 10-EDA-259 authorizing Ramsey County to cancel the minimum
assessment agreement between the EDA and Mounds Vista, Inc.
On December 14, 2009, the EDA authorized the redemption and payment of the
outstanding Tax Increment Revenue Bonds. The bonds were issued October 1, 2001 as
part of a redevelopment of the Mermaid property. As a result of the redemption, the
minimum assessment agreement is no longer necessary and should be cancelled.

CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING RAMSEY COUNTY TO CANCEL THE MINIMUM ASSESSMENT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY (AUTHORITY) AND MOUNDS VIASTA, INC.
WHEREAS, the Authority entered into a development assistance agreement
with Mounds Vista, Inc. on October 1, 2001 for the development of certain real property
described in exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Authority issued bonds conditioned upon establishment of a
“minimum assessment agreement” between the Authority and Mounds Vista, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Authority authorized redemption of said bonds and thus the
“minimum assessment agreement” is no longer necessary and should be cancelled.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View Economic
Development Authority that Ramsey County is hereby authorized to cancel the “minimum
assessment agreement” between the Authority and Mounds Vista, Inc.:
