Special Meeting
November 7, 1994
Call to Order:
The Mounds View Council was called to order by Mayor Linke at 8:56 p.m.
Roll Call:
Members Present: Mayor Linke, Councilmembers Blanchard, Quick, Wuori and
Trude
Staff Present: Samantha Orduno, City Administrator
Mike Ulrich, Public Works Director
Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator
• Mary Saarion, Parks, Recreation & Forestry Director
Don Brager, Finance Director
Discussion Item : Final Plat for Sherwood Estates
Councilmember Quick asked the time limit for a performance bond on the road and the
ponds that are part of the Sherwood Estates development. Paul Harrington, the City's
Community Development Coordinator, noted that the bond could be held for up to seven
years. Councilmember Quick requested that new language be added to item No. 5 of the
Resolution that would require installation of not only sanitary and watermains but also
storm sewer mains in the development, noting that all mains would allow for the future
extension to Ar-dtn--Avenue.
Motion/Second: Trude/Quick to approve Resolution No. 4653.
Vote: 5 ayes 0 nayes Motion carried
Discussion Item: Authorization to execute Agunbiade Settlement
Samantha Orduno explained that the Council must authorize the Mayor to execute the
Agunbiade Settlement.

Motion/Second: Trude/Blanchard to authorize Mayor Linke to execute the Settlement.
Vote: 5 ayes 0 nayes Motion Carried
Discussion Item: Additional Golf Course Fencing
Parks and Recreation Director Mary Saarion, explained that additional fencing was needed
to secure the golf course site. The fencing would be funded from the proceeds of the bond
and operational fund.
Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to approve the appropriation of $12,500 to install
additional fencing to secure the golf course site.
Vote: 5 ayes 0 nayes Motion Carried
