Weibel of the Planning Commisslon, Mayor Crane, end Mr. Boll o£ the Industrial Committee are to meet with Mr, Lawrence and make a tour of the Foundry on Wednesday, August 15, 19b2 to see it in operation and to see if it will qualify to xonin9 standards. .-~ The matter was referred to .the Planner regarding a ~,~ suitable location. Mr. Andrew Simon presented preliminary plane fir a Motel and Supper Club that he wishes to locate on Highway #10 at Grovoland Road. MOTION by Sullivan that the Planning Commission refer the matter to the Cohncll to set 'a herring for rezoning of the property to an R-3 classification and that the plans be 'referred to the Planner fnr his recommendations which ha should present at the next regular Planning Meeting. M. Planning Commission members present: M. Stole C. Foreland W. WaibeT G. Gustafson P. Hlan:hard J. Sullivan Dale Pallack, Paul E, Boog and Chris Piehowski ware a.160 present. Mayor Crane introduced Mr. Lawrence, President of the Drooklyn Center. State Hank, who stated that the Kausel Foundry, nok~~ located in M'nneapolis, wishes to expand and is interested in locating in Mounds View.
