Members present: Stole, Gustafson, Falok, Burggraff, Forslund, Glaser, Haake, and Blanchard. W. Skiba was also present. Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved. Terry E3lanski appeared for Al Petron wishing to subdivide the 2 ?,4 of Lot 21, Knollwood Park to create a 91'x100' lot. NOTION by Haeko to request the Council to DENY the subdivision because the proposed lot does not meet the node requirements. Seoonded by Glaser. Carried. Martin Oil Company requested a variance to erect a 27' sign on their property et 1925 Highway 1, LOTION by Falok to approve the varianoe. Seconded by Burggraff. 177:73 Glaser abstaining. Carried. Eugene Ohartior, 5053 Rainbow Lane, requested a variance to put a 19'x10' addition onto his garage. Present garage is 22'x24' MOTION by Haoke to approve the variance for a 19'xiO' addition. Seconded bt Gustafson. Carried. William :Cnueppel, aapearing for Mobil Oil Company,' requested a Special Use Permit to construct a service stotion on the southeast corner of Silver Lake Road at Highway ,A10. MOT.ION,by Macke to request the Counull to reject the request on the grro s of traffic safety and also because the village is saturated' with serviod stations. Seconded by Glaser. Ayes-- IIaake, Glaser. Nays Feick, Gustafson, Stole, Burggraff, Forslund and Blanchard. Motion failed. MOTION by Falok to request the Council to reject the applioation bocauso of the traffic hazard for people trying to Dross Silver Lake Road. Secondod by Forslund. Carried. Mr. Knueppel requests a copy of these minutes. Carried. Ronald Molina, 2427 Clearview, Not 'here action taken. James Paron, 2.88 Ifighway 1 10, wishes to subdivide Lot 8, Block,30, R 23, into two lots. MOTION by Burggraff to reoorunond approval of the request for a lot sp llt. Seconded by Glaser.
