Mr. Paradise returned to the meeting after 'checking out measurement. on his lot add asked tor a 5 .ft. variance, he indicated he could Move the pool closest to kite garage. MSP Raake /Burmeister to grant a varaince of 5 ft. on the south side lot line for tke installation of a swimming pool. 4 ayes, 1 abstain. carried Present: 1 r•� Variance. Dorothy Raseat. Lot 1 Block 4, Pinewood Terrace #2. Mrs. Resat would like to build an oversize garage, the site being 24 X 40 or 960 sq. tt. a variance of 136 sq. ft. Ono part of the garage will be a small workshop and there is presently an older garage that will be torn down and the new garage built on the same spot. MSP olater /skelquist to approve tke requset for a variance of 136 sq. ft. for an oversize garage. 8 ayes. carried Non fee items. Future use of Commercial property for use as Used Car Lot. Parcel 010 -19, Auditors Subdivision #89 8154 Spring Lake Road (Closed Standard Oil Station). Mr. Jeffrey Goetz. Mr. Goetz indioated there would be late model used oar* for sale and probably would not have more than 15 -20 oars on the lot at any one time. There will not be any other build- ings on the lot, and they will put up a 6 ft. opaque fence in baok of the building and on either side, with one side also having a fenced in storage area,used for oars that need cleaning up etc, Mr. Goetz kas agreed to put a lo ft. strip on the Spring Lake Road side and create definite drives and also he will put up 4. ft. plantings or fence on this green•.trip, in compliance with the ,E0 (40.06 d) requirements. The Commission recommends that a certain date, suck as May 31st. 1975, should be the date to have the green strip and plantings or fence completed. Special Ups permit. 7b85 Groveland Road. Roaalb Smith. Mr. 94itk requested to be able to store appliances for kis business in kis garage, and asked for a variance on the ordianoe regulating business in the home. Mr. Smith had been already tagged by the building inspector for doing busi -ems in the hose. Mr. Smith had the figmaturec of 7 neighbor• who did not object to kis storing of appliances, but'the neighbor direotly next to Mr. Smith does object. The Commission felt that Mr. Smith vas doing business in his home and should not be given any variance, but at the sane tins the Constantin telt it was not in a position to judge the legal interpttatioa of this situation. Proposed accessory Building. Joe Christy, 2617 Sherwood Rd. The proposed building would be to the rear of the existing garage. The building would be used to store 2 boats and trailers and seen. to be more of a garage that accessory building. Some Commission *embers felt it was a garage. others felt it could be en accessory building. The ordianoe does not permit two garages OR a lot. Mr. Christy was told the only way he rill gat definite deoisioa was to be put ma the Commission. next adgenda as a fee item.
