The followiag members were present: Nancy 54rmeteter, Pau1 Fedor, Robert Roasman, Gerald Foc+s, Oon Mackeben. Absent weres Barhara Haake, Phyllis glanchard and ttobert Glazer. She introduced Howasd Moechni~, Soil Conservationiat from the Ramsey Suil ar.d Water Conaervation Diatrict. Mr, Moechnic then spoke to the Planniug Commiasion aad pasaed uut a aummary of what the services of the diatrict entail (attached). He explained that they are intereated in good land use ar~d utilizing the~atural resourcee within thair capabilities. He also showed slides te the Ca~mniesion. He furthcr explained that his servicea ~oma at no aoat to the city, the only cost wou7.d be for ~-~~ materials suc:h as map reproducti~n. He said that linea of enmmunication ~ i are very important in projects suah ae this, and that should bo worked `~ cut at the local level. He will draw up a cooperative agreement, outlining the channels of communication and send it in. Me. Burmeiater staCed that upon receipt of thie agreament the Counail and the Planning Commission will look at it and that copiea shoul$ be diatrlbuted ae soon as poaaible.
