The owners of the mntel slxovred the owner of this home to move onto their property in exohange for a day oT work a weeic. i'he ownere o£ the motel went through this same prooedure about 12 years ago and they were asked tn move~it and it waa filed away and n~ver p~issued. Nhen he (Mr. Parker) bought it he was ~otally unaware of any ordinance againat it. 7'he trailer ho^~e is about 25 years old end the only value it has to him ia that he doe~ not have to pay rent. He plans tn etay there until he graduatea from Bethel in 1974. It oannot be seen from the road, which ia probably the reasan why it wae not ta~ged befare. Mr. Parker has live3 in it sinrse the epring or 1974. Mr. Olazer euggasted that perhapa the motel may be willing to underwrite s~me of the hardahip costa involved and Mr. Parker replied that they have benefited more from the situation than the motel hae.
