called to order at 7:32 p.m. on June 21, 1979, at the Mounde
View City Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112,

Commission member Fedor withdrew from the Commission at 7:35
r~ p.m., due to conflicts of intereet.
`~,i~ mhe Commi~sion opted not to have sta£f. ceuiew the matter, as
it was still fres~ in their minds from the night before.
Paul Fedor, Sr., 8036 Long Lake Road, atated that he had no
problem with the eubatandard house (old garage) oetback, but
he requested no windowu be placed on the aouth side to ineure
him privaay. His requast for this privacy was due to the fact
that his bedroom windows are lucated on that side.
Mapnard aowman, 8046 Lonq Lake Road, stated that he felt the
zoninq co~les did not reatrict windows.' Further, that he pro-
posed to plaoe the windows at a height of 6'6" from the floor,
which would provide privacy.
Paul Fedor, Sr. stated that hia houee was three feet higher
then tha Bowman's and that the 6'6" would not provide privacy.
Motion made by Coebel, no second, for the Planning Commiseion
to grant variance ior a 5'9" aetback £or the conversinn from
garage to living guar~ers of 8046 Long Lake Road.

the variance, sinc9 the neighbor objeeted to the insta2lation
of windows,

could ba achieved. A motion was made to wlthdraw tho provious
