and told the Planning Cammiaeian how much he had
enjoyed working with them.

uee in an R-1 dietrict. Also, if a rezoning is
approved by tha Planning Gommiseion and City
Council, hs vrould then be required to purchase
a license.

SUDDIVISION AND RGZONING FOR 8495 RED OAH DRIVG
WHER~:A$, the Mounda View Planning Gommission has reaeived tin
appiiantlon from .71m Pietrowski requesting approval for a minor
subdlviaion and rozoninq of one of tha aubdividad lota from A-1 to
tt~r21 and
WH~eEAS, the Planning Commisaion has recoived and reviewed
re~}orts From City ata£f regarding the roqueat and ita application to
the Mounds Vie~v Municipal Code; and
WHER8~1S, the existing and proposed lots all meet or exceed
min:.mum Zoning Code requirements; ar~d
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1981, the Planning Commisaion passed
Resolution No. 10-81 outlininq criteria for R-2 razoning requestsi and
WHER~)1S, this resolution statad that R-2 davelopmente should
r~~ continue to ba calssified as low density housing and this type of
~~...J h~usinq should be reshricted to the ~eriphery of low density zonea in
areas where they would provide transition to higher density residen-
ttal or other more intensive land uaesj and
WIIGRCAS, this proposed rezoninq request does meat the above
criteria by being located on the periphery of a Low dansity zoneJ and
WIiEREAS, County Road J is considered,a minor arterial with
airport~property located north of County Road J7 and
WHEREAS, an R-2 davelopment would be appropriate for this

~~, WHEREAS, sugge3ted language revisions by the City Attqrney

Recreations and Forestry regarding Park Fund Dedication hae been

NOW, TNGRGFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounda View Plan-
niny~COmmission recommends to the City Council. ~he adoption of
Chapter A2,entitled, "SUbdivision Regulations", a draft being
attached to this reaolution;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the P].anning Commieaion re£era
Section 42. ,"Fees", to the City Council for their recommenda-
tion.
