The Mounda View Planning Commisaion was aalled
to order by Chairman MounEin at 7s15 p.m.
MEMBEIRS PREBENTt Commiseioners MeCarthy, Miller,
p-u~c c~, For-aTun~, and Chairman Mountin. Commiseioner
Warren arrived at 7:25 p.m. Commiseioner Anderaon
had an excueed abaenae.

P ann ng Teahnician Kampel.
Mre. Roaelyn 4?~ibel, 7150 Knollwood Driva, requeated
input and approval from the Planning Commiasion on a
subdivision oE two lote into three involving her
property at 7150 Knollwood Drive and property owned
bv Alphonae Petron at 2909 Woodale Driva. There was
a diecuesion amongat the Commisaionere concerning thia
~~euhd.ivi~~.on request. Statf w~e then di.xented to iasue
~?thiR item caea number 140-83 and to draft Resolution
No. 87-83 reaommending approval of thie subdiviaion
noting the Eollowing items in the reaolutions

c) the Park Fund Dedicatifon be paid
d) that thie aubdiviaion ie not in confl.ict

Chairman Mountin reviewed the Planning Cammiasion 4. Erio Emeraon

thie item and it wae the Attorney's opinion that a Dietriat
varianoe would ba required. The Commisaioners Case 134-83
did receive a copy of the Attorney'e wrltten
opinion.
Mr. Emereon drew a eketch on the board showinq
the location of eide yards. He then presanted a

Chairman Mountin explained that a varianae ie
required baeed upon bcth past City practice of
requiring a variance for drivewaye less than
five Eeec from the grnperty line and also
ba~ed upot~ the Attornoy'e opinion that a variance
ie required.
Mra. Emer9on statied thak the driveway wae in
exidtence for many yeare. They are not putting
in a new driveway, but repairittg/replacing an
axiecing driveway.
