The Mounds view Planning Commission was called to 1, Call to Order,
order by Chairman Mountin at 7:30 p.m.
MEMBERG PRESENT~ Commissioners Quick, Sargent, 2. Roll Call
Warren, Anderson and Chairman Mountin.
Commiasionere Miller, Lautorbauch and Forslund had
excused abeences.
ALSO PRESENTs Public Works/Community Development

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL OF AN.
ADDITION, PHASE 2, 2159 MUSTANG ORIVE, BAUER h'ELD.iNG
AND METAL FABRICATORS, MOUNDS ViEW PLANNlNG CASE i(11-81
WNEREAS, Mounds Yiew Code, 69.07, requires the review of the proposed
additiur, Phese 2, to 2159 Mustang Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Comnission has reviewed the proposed
additlon, Phase 2, on AugusL 1, 1984; and
WNEREAS, the Ho~ands Vlew Planninq Comnission has reviewed the original
submission whlch included the addition, Phase 2; and
k~HEREAS, the original approval of the devetopment was under a previous
Zoning Code; and
VfHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Comnission finds that the proposed
addttion, Phase 2, is stmilar to the original proposal and in keeping wlth the
~~~ spirit and intent of the Zoning Codo requirements;
~~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'RESOIVED that the Mounds View Planning Comnission
recomnends approval of the s~te plan submitted December 15, 1981, in a development
agreeu~ent execut~d to includQ the following:
1) The fnllowing items shouid be exhibits of the developm4nt agreemenC:
a site 'plan
b grading plan
c final ptans and spesificatlons
d 1ega1 description
e Ordinance No. 49A requlrements
f Ordinance No. 49A 7-year security
2) A securlty in the amount af b10,000 for the site improvements.
3) Yhe following Exhibit 2A conditions shouid be'inc7udeJ:
a) Payment of all City expenses within 30 days.
b) Provide additional parking as necessary in fuCure to meet ar~a
Code requirements;
BE IT FURTNER RE50LVED thet the Mounds View P]anning Comnission directs
staff to forwerd this resolution tn the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.

construct a day care facility within tho City of Mounds Viewr and
WHEREAB, construction of this day care facility as
requosted requirea appr~val of a minor subdivieion (combininq 2
lote into 1), conditional use permit~ and developmenC appr.ovalJ

n;;. WHEREA3, the Planning Commisaion hms reviewed the StaEf
; Aeport and ha3 reviewed a report on the development by David
~;f Licht of Northwest Aasociated Consultante, Snc., along with
;;: information aubmitted by Che appiicant which includes the

, WHEREAS~ the Planning Commission has also reviewed this
proposal and it is in conformance with a11 chapters of the
Municipal Code, specifically Chapters d0, 42, 49 and 49A and

WHEREAS, this proposal meets all requiremente oE Chapters
40, 42 and 49 oE the Municipal CodaJ and
WHEREAS, Rice Cceek Watershed District will review tha
development prior to constructionJ ar.d

NOW, THEREFORE, BG YT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Conmiseion recommends approval of the request by Kinder
Care oE the followings

6. The Comprehenaive Plan ahauld be amended.
7. Screening, treQa and vegetation shall be providod
accoCding to David Licht's report.
8. Provide screening and inetall oll landscapinq according
to David Licht~s memorandum.
9. Move tha trash enclosure 15 feet to the weak according
to ~avid Licht's memorandum and City Ordinance ~hich
speclEies a 55 fnot lenyCh for a loading berth.
10. Additional landscaping shall be pruvided as indicated
