regarding the raqueat of M. H. Anderson to amend Caee 146-84
their existing PUD and aubdivide the property in
question into 12 eingle femily lote. He revi.ew~ed
the proposed eite,plane, ehowin6 both 10 lote and
].2 lots.
Fred Haae, of M. H. Anderson i:onetructi~n Co.,
etated that at tha laet Council maeti!tg, the
Council wae intereated in having tho eingle fcsmily
rather than Cwin homes, qe there vrould be more open
epace snd would be more attxactive. He explained
that if th~y do not receive spproval for tlie 12
l~single fe~mily hAmee, they would have to revert back
`a~ to the plan for twin homes, ae it would not ba
financially f~aaeible to build less than 12 homee

Thor Winetrom, of Kraue/Ander.son, st~ted it was their
feel3ng that twin ho*aee would nut be attdactive and
urgad the Planning Co~isaion to accept the 12 units,
ae it would ba a decreasa in deneity and more
deeirable. He addad tho exietittg homo ownars are
opposed tn the twin home concept.
Mr. Aaae atated he knows of 15 residente of the
~. development who are opposed to the twin home idea,
aad wi11 be atten;~i.ng the Cuuncil meer,~,ng to voioe

agreed that while the Council ie itttereeted in
seeing it go to aingle family, the Plsnning
Co~ission has mixed feelin~s on allowing 12
units, while ll units cen be supporced by cne i,oun,
w1Ch variances for 3 lote required £or 11 lota,
but a significant nuraber more if 12 lots are
allowed.
Mr. Hase reemphasized that they meet the requira- .
ments for tl~e lots sizes under the PUD with the
exception,of needing square foota~e variances for
8 loCe, but have the neeeasary total equara footage.

Attorney Msyers, draft a raeolutian and have iC ready
for the workahop session on .7une 19, at which time
they would call. to order.
Mr. Haas requested that the Planning Commiasi.on
vote on the request this e~~eni~g, and send it on to
the Council, as the attorney would be at the
Council meeting and they wotQd l:lce to get going on
the mattes as quickly aa pnasihle.
Chairwan Plountin advised Mr. Haae tl.a Council conld
