RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUMMARY ABATEMENT ORDER OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 7941 EDGEWOOD DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City has conducted inspections of the property located at 7941
Edgewood Drive, legally described as:

PID: 05-30-23-31-0062
Lot 22, Block 15 of Pinewood Terrace No. 5
WHEREAS, the City finds that the property is in violation of the Mounds View City
Section 607.03, Subd 3(e):
The depositing of, maintaining, permitting or failing to remove, garbage, trash, rubbish,
bottles, cans and other refuse on any property within the City, including large quantities
of organic debris and materials, which accumulated by other than natural means, except
properly maintained compost piles.
WHEREAS, the City has issued Abatement Orders on:
May 24, 2018
June 15, 2018
August 1, 2018 (Certified Mail)
WHEREAS, the property owner, Robert Kuykendall, has not responded to these notices,
and has not abated the public nuisance. Staff has obtained a cost estimate of $650 from Upper
Cut Tree Service to abate the violations. It is Staff's practice that when abatement costs exceed
normal amounts, that approval of the abatement be approved by the City Council; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT the City Council
approves the abatement of City Code violations, located at 7941 Edgewood Road, with all costs
to be paid by the property owner, or assessed to property taxes.
