CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF RESOLUTIONS 5396,
5501, 5557 AND 7583
WHEREAS, Council discussed fiscal and human resources challenges related to
live broadcasting all city meetings at their April and May retreat as well as the August
2018 workshop; and
WHEREAS, staff was directed to prepare a plan which was reviewed and
approved at the August workshop; and
WHEREAS, previous councils have adopted resolutions specific to live
broadcasting of city meetings; and
WHEREAS, City Attorney has advised we can repeals or suspend temporarily; and
WHEREAS, the experimentation period has been defined as those meetings
occurring between September 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves resolution 9008 which temporally suspends resolutions 5396, 5501, 5557, and
7583
