MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 112-84
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VARIANCE REQUEST FOR 2833 LAPORT DRIVE
WHEREAS, there exists on the northeast interesection of
Laport Drive and Groveland Road a house which faces Laport Drive;
and
WHEREAS, the front yard obviously fronts on Laport Drive;
and
WHEREAS, the Code stipulates the front yard is on the
shortest lot line which happens to be Groveland Road; and
WHEREAS, they meets all other requirements; and
WHEREAS, this keeps continuity with the neighborhood and
has no adverse impact on adjacent property; and
WHEREAS, this is the only uniquely sized lot on the block;
and
WHEREAS, the hardship is the original placement of the
house and there is no obstruction of light, air and view; and
WHEREAS, there is adequate setback from both roads and all
property lines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission approves a 4 foot variance request on the
rear lot line for 2833 Laport Drive.
