RESOLUTION NO. 115-84
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION FROM THE MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING THE REZONING OF PROPERTIES ON HIGHWAY 10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has
requested the Planning Commission to review the nine properties
proposed for rezoning along Highway IOi and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held several meetings
on the review of the Comprehensive Plan and on these proposed
rezoningSi and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has met with the City Council
in a joint meeting to discuss the Comprehensive Plan and these
rezoningsi and
WHEREAS, District 12 properties have been referred to planners
contingent upon a developers application; and
WHEREAS, Kinder Care's development proposal has been resolvedi
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
recommends the following:
I) 7860 Groveland Road remain zoned R-3, Medium Density
Residential.
2) Continue rezoning other property known as Mid-America
Auto, K-Gas Station and Steve's Appliances.
3) City Council contact Mr. Dave Licht of Northwest
Associated Consultants, Inc. for implementation strategy
on the property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
directs staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to
approval of the minutes.
