MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 118-84
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF DEVELOPMENT REVIEW OF 5-UNIT
GARAGE AT 5701 QUINCY STREET
WHEREAS, the owner of 5701 Quincy Street, Frank Lapatka,
has requested approval to construct a 5-unit garage on said
property; and
WHEREAS, Mounds View Municipal Code Chapter 59.07 requires
a formal development review of said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the property at 5701 Quincy Street is presently
zoned R-3 and has an existing 4-unit apartment building built
thereon; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the proposed 5-unit garage
would provide for garage spaces now required by Code and still
provide needed outdoor parking as required by Code; and
WHEREAS, the proposed 5-unit garage meets minimum setback
requirements on the lot proper;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of the requested 5-unit
garage to be located at 5701 Quincy Street to the Mounds View
City Council;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends approval of the 5-unit garage as an accessory
building and that a development agreement and/or security not be '
required.
