MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 121-84
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING
MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 161-84
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Werdien of 6940 Silver Lake
Road have requested City approval for a minor subdivision (2 lots
into 1) within the City of Mounds View~ and
WHEREAS, they are also requesting a conditional use permit
for an accessory building with a size of 241 by 241 (576 square
feet)~ and
WHEREAS Chapter 40 of the City Code states that if an
accessory buiding is sized in excess of 216 square feet a
conditional use permit must be approved~ and
WHEREAS, the use of the accessory building will be for
home garden equipment and implements and recreational equipment~
and
WHEREAS, there shall be no driveway to the building~ and
WHEREAS, the building shall meet construction codes~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of the conditional use
permit for an accessory building provided that the following
requirements are adhered to:
1) The minor subdivision must be platted and recorded as
one lot.
2) Other accessory buildings on the lot must be removed.
3) If the use of the accessory building changes, this
conditional use permit is null and void.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission direct staff to forward this resolution to the City
Council prior to approval of the minutes.
