MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 135-85
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING MOUNDS VIEW
PLANNING CASE NO. 171-85, THEODORE JARVIS REQUEST FOR
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AT 2236 HILLVIEW ROAD
WHEREAS, Theodore Jarvis has requested City approval to
construct a 308 square foot accessory building; and
WHEREAS, City Code requires that if an accessory building
is proposed to exceed 216 square feet, a public hearing must be
held by the City Council prior to approval; and
WHEREAS, construction of this accessory building, as
requested, requires approval of a conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the site
plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has also reviewed this
proposal and it is in conformance with all Chapters of the
Municipal Code, specifically Chapters 40, 42, 49 and 49A and
State Statutes; and
WHEREAS, no driveway (paved or unpaved) shall be installed
to provide access to the accessory building;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of the request by
Theodore Jarvis for a conditional use permit;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a condition of the conditional
use permit is that the use shall be limited to storage of lawn
and garden equipment, boat, recreational vehicles and other uses
accessory to the principle building;
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission direct staff to forward this resolution to the City
Council prior to approval of the minutes.
