RESOLUTION NO. 164-86
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING MOUNDS VIEH
PLANNING CASE NO. 190-86, GEORGE R. GRONE, MAJOR SUBDIVISION
(I LOT INTO 3 LOTS), 8430 KNOLLWOOD DRIVE
WHEREAS, Mr. George R. Grone has requested City approval
for a major subdivision (1 lot into 3 lots) at 8430 Knollwood
Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the staff
report and the certificate of survey dated April 14, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has also reviewed this
proposal and it is in conformance with all chapters of the
Municipal Code, specifically Chapters 40, 48, 49, and State
Statutes; and
vvHEREAS, this development does not need to be reviewed by
the Rice Creek Watershed District; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider shall provide plans and calcula-
tions for storm water control per City Code Chapter 49A prior to
subdivision approval; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider shall furnish the City with a
site, grading, and drainage plan prior to approval; and
WHEREAS, the developer shall pay a park dedication fee of
$192.00 ($150/acre X 1.28 acres) prior to approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of the development per
the request of George R. Grone contingent upon receiving the
following:
1. Five foot drainage easements on the rear and
side property lines.
2. A drainage easement over the storm water
detention pond.
3. Plans and calculations for storm water control.
4. Site, grading and drainage plan.
5. Payment of park dedication fee.

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission direct staff to forward this resolution to the City
Council prior to approval of the minutes.
Adopted this 4th day of June, 1986.
