RESOLUTION RECOHrIENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERHIT
FOR A VETERINARY ANIMAL CLINIC FOR KEVIN BARCUS, 2554 HIGH'ffiY 10,
HOUNDS VIEH, rIINNESOTA
'lliEREAS, Dr. Kevin Barcus has requested a conditional use
permit for the property located at 2554 Highway 10 in the Silver
View Plaza Shopping Center for a veterinary/animal clinic; and
'JHEREAS, Chapter 40.17, Subdivision D (4) provides for an
animal clinic as a conditional use in a B-2 zone; and
HHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have
reviewed the proposal and found it in keeping with the intent of
the Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission recommends approval of a conditional use
permit for a veterinary/animal clinic contingent upon the
following:

a. Noise and odor are effectively confined to the
premises in accordance with Ordinance No. 90,
Public Nuisances.
b. That boarding of animals is not provided for an
extended period of time.
c. That the clinic meets all Ramsey County Health Codes
for a use of that type.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Hounds View Planning
Commission directs staff to forward this resolution to the City
Council prior to approval of the minutes.
Adopted this 20th day of April, 1988.
