<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 238-88 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING VARIANCE REQUEST FOR PUBLIC STORAGE, <br />INC., LOT 1, BLOCK 9, AND A PORTION OF LOT 1, BLOCK 10, <br />SILVER LAKE WOODS, PLANNING CASE NO. 254-88 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. has requested a variance <br />from the 5 acre minimum project size for a PUD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Storage, Inc. has additionally requested <br />rezoning to a PUD, major subdivision of the properties, and <br />development review of their project proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 40.26, Subd. D, of the Municipal Code <br />states the criteria which must be met for granting a variance; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Staff and Planning Commission have reviewed <br />the proposed development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are no existing extraordinary circumstances <br />as presented which apply to the property which do not apply to <br />other properties in the same zone; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the special conditions or circumstances result <br />from the actions of the applicant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission denies the request by Public Storage, Inc. <br />for a variance from the minimum lot size in a PUD zone. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission denies the rezoning of the property to PUD, the <br />subdivision of the property, and rejects the development proposal <br />because of the above variance denial. <br /> <br />Adopted this 2nd day of November, 1988. <br /> <br />ATTES'l' : <br /> <br />1,&;Jd /f~ <br /> <br />ClYa r a <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />~.~ <br /> <br />Clty Planner <br />
