CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
S'rATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL TO SIZE STORM SEWER PIPE
IN LONG LAKE ROAD SO AS NOT TO PRECLUDE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
IN THE AREA BEHIND 8140/8212 LONG LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, the Mounds VIew PlannIng CommIssIon held an
advertIsed informational meeting on July 19, 1989, regardIng the
potentIal development of MIke Mezzenga, Outlot A, InclUdIng the
upgrad'ing of the back part of the lots front. ing on Eastwood Road
and the upgradIng of Greenwood Road In Mounds VIew; and
WHEREAS, the PlannIng Commission approved Mike Mezzenga's
major subdlVlSl.On per Resolutlon No. 257-89; and
WHEREAS, the City Counc'il approved MIke Mezzenga's major
subd'ivl.slon per Resolutlon No. 2527; and
WHEREAS, the Planning CommlSSlon cont'inued discussl.ng the
posslble upgradIng of the Outlot A and the back of the Eastwood
Road lots at thel.r meet'ing on August 16, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Plannlng Commisslon recommended to the City
CouncIl that the storm sewer pl.pe In Long Lake Road should be
sized accordl.ngly takl.ng Into consideration the possibIlIty that
thlS area could develop at some tIme in the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds Vl.ew
Plannl.ng CommissIon recommends to the Mounds View C'ity CouncIl to
size the storm sewer pipe In Long Lake Road so as not to preclude
future development In thl.s area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that t.he Plann'ing CommlSSlon
dIrects Staff to forward thlS resolutlon to the CIty Council
prlor to approval of the ml.nutes.
