RESOLUTION NO. 288-90
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY TERRY JO AND JAY
SHERMAN TO ALLOW ORIGINAL PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE TO
TEMPORARILY REMAIN AT 8443 RED OAK DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the
applicant's request to allow the original principal structure
to remain on the lot while the new home is being constructed;
and
WHEREAS, the applicant will remove the original
structure at the time the new home is completed; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the
request which does not require any special approvals; and
WHEREAS, the applicant currently lives in the existing
house.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning
Commission recommends to the City Council approval of the
request contingent on the following:
1. The front yard setback be in compliance with the
Zoning Ordinance.
2. A bond be submitted to the City covering the cost
of demolition of the original structure.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission
directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council
prior to approval of the minutes.
