RESOLUTION NO. 398-94
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SIDE YARD SETBACK VARIANCE AT
2572 ARDAN AVENUE, PLANNING CASE NO. 390-94
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has
reviewed the request of Bruce Bogie for a variance to allow a
reduction in the required side yard setback at 2572 Ardan Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the applicant's request for variance would
allow construction of an attached garage at a two (2) foot side
yard setback where a five (5) foot setback is required by
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the
criteria used to evaluate all variance requests; and
WHEREAS, the Planning commission has determined that no
reasonable alternatives for the location of the attached garage
are available; and
'. WHEREAS, the variance requested is the minimum
necessary to alleviate the hardship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View
Planning Commission approves the request of Bruce Bogie for a
variance to allow the construction of an attached garage at a
side yard setback of two (2) feet where a five (5) foot setback
is required by Municipal Code.
