RESOLUTION NO. 442-96
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING THE
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST BY LINDER'S GREENHOUSES,
MOUNDS VIEW SQUARE, PLANNING CASE NO. 435-95
WHEREAS, Pete Linder, representing Linder's Greenhouses, has requested City
approval to conduct open and outdoor sales at Mounds View Square Shopping Center; and
WHEREAS, the open and outdoor sales would take the form of a temporary
greenhouse facility on the site; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Municipal Code allows open and outdoor sales in a
B-4, Regional Business with the issuance of a conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents
regarding this proposal:

Site plan dated December 19, 1995
Letter of request dated December 15, 1995
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposal is in
conformance with the requirements of the Municipal Code, specifically Title 1100.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission recommends approval of the conditional use permit with the following
conditions:

The facility shall be allowed to operate from March 20, 1996 to July
15, 1996
The hours of operation of the facility shall not exceed 8:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs staff to forward
this reso,lution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
