RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW
AN OVERSIZED GARAGE FOR CHURCH UPON THE ROCK, 7901 RED OAK DRIVE,
PLANNING CASE NO. 451-96

WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the request of Church Upon the
Rock for additional accessory square footage; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Zoning Ordinance allows by conditional use permit up to 1,264 square
feet of accessory building square footage on one lot; and
WHEREAS, the prol?osed total accessory building square footage on the lot is 24' X 54' ( 1,248 square
feet), which is below the maximum allowed; and
WHEREAS, the proposed building meets all applicable setback requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends
to the City Council approval of the requested conditio!lal use ~ermit for additional a~cessory building square
footage by Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak Dnve, contmgent upon the followmg:
The conditional use permit be rccorded with Ramsey County within 60 days of City Council
approval and proof of such recording be presented to the City of Mounds View.
The building be designed and maintained to provide a uniform appearance with the
dwelling umt.
The existing accessory structures on the property be removed prior to construction.
Should the use change for what the permit was granted for, the permit shall become null and
void.

Whcnever, within one year after granting this conditional use permit, the work permitted by
this permit shall not have been completed, then such permit shall become null and void unless a
petitIOn for extension of time in which to complete the work has been granted by the City
Council.
6. Church Upon the Rock enter into a development agrcement with the City of Mounds View.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs Staff to forward
this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
