RESOLUTION NO. 467-96
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW
AN OVERSIZED GARAGE FOR JEROME ESPESETH,
8005 WOODLAWN DRIVE, MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. 448-96
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the request of Jerome Espeseth for
additional accessory square footage; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Zoning Ordinance allows by conditional use penllit up to 1,264 square
feet of accessory building square footage on one lot; and
WHEREAS, thc proposed total accessory building square footage on the lot is 1, 260 square feet, which
is below the maximum allowed; and
WHEREAS, the proposed building meets all applicablc setback requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends
to thc City Council approval of the requested eonditional use permit for additional accessory building square
footage by Jerome Espeseth, 8005 Woodlawn Drive, contingent upon the following:
1. The eonditional use permit be recorded with Ramsey County within 60 days of City Council
approval and proof of such recording be presented to the City of Mounds View.
2. The building be designed and maintaincd to providc a uniform appearancc with thc
dwelling unit.

The existing garage and shcd be removed from the property prior to construction of the garage.
Should the use change for what the pemlit was granted for, the pcrmit shall becomc null and
void.
5. Whenever, within one ycar after granting this conditional use permit, the work permitted by
this permit shall not have been completed, then such permit shall become null and void unless a
petition for extension of time in which to eomplete the work has been granted by the City
Council.
6. Jerome Espeseth enter into a dcvelopment agreemcnt with the City of Mounds View.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thc Mounds View Planning Commission directs Staff to forward
this resolution to the City Couneil prior to approval of the minutes.
