MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 490-96
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ESTABLISHING MEETING DATES AND SUBMISSION DEADLINES FOR 1997
WHEREAS, thc Mounds Vicw Planning Commission will be holding two busincss mcctings per
month during 1996, with thc cxccption of Special Meetings, as necded based on developmcnt submittals,
ordinance revisions, and special projccts undcrtakcn by thc Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the first mccting of thc month shall be a regular meeting at which actions are expected
to be taken, and the second mceting o[ the month shall be an agenda mecting to revicw and discuss items
which will be on the agcnda for thc rcgular meeting in the following month; and,
WHEREAS, thc usual procedurc shall be [or items to be discussed first at an agcnda meeting and
thcn acted upon at a regular mceting; and,
WHEREAS, thc deadline for submittal of rcquests for the agcnda mccting shall bc the Friday thrcc
wccks prior to thc Friday before the agcnda mccting; and,
WHEREAS, deyclopers, citizcns or other intercstcd partics should be adyiscd of deadlincs for
submittal of materials uscd by staff to prepare its rcport and by Planning Commission in its discussion of
dcvelopmcnt requests; and,
WHEREAS, cstablishing mceting dates and dcadlincs for submittals provides for an orderly systcm
[or thc Planning Commission, staff and thc gcncral public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission o[the City of Mounds
View docs hereby establish mccting datcs and deadlincs [or submittal as shO\\11 on the Exhibit I (Planning
Commission Mccting Schcdule - 1997), which is attached hcrcto and made a part of this rcsolution by this
rcferencc: and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ifthc Planning Commission is rcquired to or dcsires to hold
spccialmeetings, or to call to ordcr to take action at an agenda meeting, they will do so in accordancc with
Statc law, Codc rcquirements and thc Bylaws; and, .~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thc Planning Conmlission may cancel mcctings, bascd on
having no business to conduct, if such canccllations are postcd at the Mounds View City Hall no later than
onc weck prior to thc meeting.
