AMENDME:\'T TO SECTIONS 1108.02. 1108.04. 1109.02, AND 1109.04 SlJBD. 4
OF TilE l\IOlJ:'1DS VIE'Y CITY CODE PERTAIl\'ING TO PER\IITTED AND
CONDITIO:\AL USES IN R-3 AND R-4 ZONING DISTRICTS.
'VHEREAS, The City of :Ylounds View desires to provide more opportunities for owncr
occupied attached housing within the City; and,
WIIEREAS, The City Codc currently requires a conditional use permit for townhouse
developments in R-3 and R-4 zoning districts; and
\\'IIEREAS, The City Code currently does not require a conditional usc permit lar multi-
[lmily housing developments in R-3 and R-.:\. zoning districts; and
'YIIERL\S, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents regarding
this proposal:
a. Sections 1108,02, II 08J).:\., II 09J)2, and 1109.04 Subd. 4 of the City Code
b. Starr Report
'VIIEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that the proposed amendment
satisfies the conditions outlined in Chapter 1125 oCthe Zoning Code; and,
\VHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that the proposed amendment is
not in connict \vith the Mounds Vicw Comprehensive Plan; and,
,"OW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
recolllmends approval of amendments to Sections 1108.02, 11 OS.04, 1109.02, and 1109.04 Subd.
.:\. of the City Code as depicted in the attached Exhibit "A".

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission directs staff
to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
