RESOLUTION RECOMME~DING APPROVAL OF A CITY CODE Al\lE:\DIVIENT TO
SECTION 1106.04 SUBD. 6(h) REG.\RDI:\G ACCESSORY STRl;CrUU:s.
WHEREAS, Section 1106.cn Subd, I(al orthe City CmiL' \\:IS :lIl1cnded (\11 i\1~II'i:h 2'1.
2002, increasing the maximum combined area allowed for al'l'l'ssory strUl.tures rrum 1.400 sqU:lIl'
feet to 1,800 square feet; and.
WHEREAS, the amendmcnt was inconsistcnt with Scction 110().04 Subd. 6(b) of tIll' City
Code, which allows a maximum combined area of IAOO square feet for accessory slrudure:-.: ~ll1d
WHEREAS, proposed Ordinance 701 would amend Section I I o ().()-1- Subd. 6(h) uf the
City Code to be consistent with the recently amcnded Section 1106.03 Subd. I (a) of thc City Cudl'.
which allows 1,800 square feet of combined area for accessory structures; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents rcgarding

satisfies the conditions outlined in Chapter 1125 of the Zoning Code; and.
WHEREAS. the Ylounds View Planning Commission finds that the propOsed anll'ndmcnl is
not in conflict with the Mounds View Comprehcnsive Plan.
NO\V, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the YIounds View Planning Commission
recommcnds approval of an amcndment to Section 1106.0-1- Subdivision ()(b) of the City Codc as
dcpicted in proposed Ordinance 701.
