RESOLUTION NO. 712-02
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
REQUEST FOR AN ADDITION TO AN EXISTING BUILDING FOR SYSCO LOCATED
AT 2400 COUNTY ROAD J; PLANNING CASE NO. DE02-007.
WHEREAS, the applicant, Phillip Seipp of Sysco, has applied for a development
review to construct an addition totaling 36,300 square feet to the building located at 2400
County Road J; and,
WHEREAS, the subject property is zoned PUD, Planned Unit Development, and is
legally described as follows:
Sysco
Lot 1, Block 2
Ramsey County, Minnesota
WHEREAS, according to Section 1006.06 of the Mounds View Municipal Code,
any new construction or expansion of existing facilities requires the approval of a
development review; and,
WHEREAS, according to Section 1119.02 of the Mounds View Zoning Code,
distribution facilities are allowed within PUD zoning districts; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents
regarding this proposal:
a. Planning Application
b. Site Plan
c. Floor Plan
d. Elevation Drawings
e. Staff Report

WHEREAS, the proposed development satisfies the dimensional requirements
of the Zoning Code; and,
WHEREAS, the site plans indicate that the proposed addition would be 36,300
square feet, bringing the total building square footage to 276,900.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning
Commission does hereby recommend that the City Council approve the development
review and conditional use permit request for the construction of a 36,300 square foot
addition to the building located at 2400 County Road J, subject to the following
stipulations:
1. The drainage for the site shall be approved by Rice Creek Watershed District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission
directs Staff to forward this Resolution to the City Council prior to approval of the
minutes.
